Your First Visit

You’ll be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patient filling out paperwork

When you first arrive there will be some brief paperwork to complete if you have not done so already.

When our new patients come in for the first time to see Dr. George Rabito they will be greeted by the receptionist who will ask to see a photo ID and their medical insurance card to make a photocopy. The types of insurance we accept are Aetna, American Specialty Health, Amerihealth, Medicare, Horizon Blue Cross And Blue Shield, Independence Blue Cross Keystone, Personal Choice, UMR, United Healthcare, all union plans, and several others.

Once the receptionist copies the cards, they will hand the patient paperwork to be filled out. When all paperwork is completed, the patient is taken to one of our exam rooms. There the patient will put on a gown and wait to be seen by our doctor.

When the doctor comes in they will talk with the patient about what brought them to the office. Following the initial conversation the patient will have a set of x-rays taken. These x-rays allow the doctor to see the current condition of the area of treatment, determine how to proceed with treatment, and develop a treatment plan to discuss at your next visit. Our patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Take a look to see what to expect during your second visit.
